I got very busy with glass over the last month or so. Here are some of the pieces I’ve completed:
Lean Green Machine Steampunk Suncatcher:
Made with different shades of green glass for the “spokes” and clear glasses. Laser-cut gears were cut out of metallic acrylic and adhered to the clear glass areas. Measures 6″x6″. It’s available at my shop.
Teardrop suncatcher:
Made using a teardrop layout frame from our sister site Glassola Tools. The piece is made with a clear bevel diamond glass at the centre, clear rain water textured glasses, and symmetrical layout of various blue glasses surrounding the clear glasses. The piece was framed in a laser-cut wood veneer for a sleek finish. Find it at my shop here.
I Want To Believe Panel:
The 30th anniversary of the premiere of the X-Files inspired me to recreate my IWTB poster in glass again. The panel measures approximately 9×12″. Find it here at my shop.
X-Files Candle Holder:
Another piece I felt inspired to remake by the 30th Anniversary.
Using my minimalist design of characters Mulder and Scully, an alien, and the iconic X logo, I’ve added in the X-logo (in the past, I made the holder with one side featuring a mini-IWTB poster).
Glass paint was used for the ID badges and Scully’s necklace. Base is made with mirrored glass on the interior and a cork pad to protect your surfaces on the bottom. Measures approximately 3.25×3.25×4″.
Here it is lit up by a tealight:
Again, you can find this at my shop.
